Rapala Knot

The Rapala Knot, named for the lure company that developed it to secure lures to their monofilament line, is another knot that creates a non-slip loop at the end of a line. The loop is tied on to the lure, which allows the lure to have a very natural movement. It is also a very strong knot that maintains most of the line strength by using a wrap in the center of the knot to pass force along to the loop. Learn how to tie the Rapala Knot following the 7 steps below.
