The banks of Colorado River offer excellent fishing for those who like catfish, with plenty of beaches and accessible stretches of shoreline. Pinpoint ares where to the current slows and food items might accumulate, as well as holes with deeper water. Catfish are especially active in the early morning just before dawn, and in the late evening after sunset. Popular catfish baits include grasshoppers, worm, chicken liver, and stink bait, although anglers can also use shrimp, clams, and crawdads.
